May events across the Mississippi Gulf Coast

May 7 – First Fridays Downtown Biloxi

Biloxi’s First Friday on The District Green is back! The block party-style event will feature vendors, plenty of food trucks, and live music from both Rythm & Rain and Gram Rea & Ty Taylor.

May 8 – Free Flowin’ Fest

On Saturday, May 8, Free Flowin’ Fest will celebrate the Pascagoula River. This year, the event has been moved to Beach Park, so head on over to 600 City Park Street for this fun, family event with live music all day starting at noon. After performances from The Tree-Oh Band, Marlow Boys Trio, The Chitlins, and The Red Clay Strays, the party will end with fireworks.

May 11 – Biloxi Shuckers Home Opener

The Biloxi Shuckers will kick off a six-game home stretch versus the Mississippi Braves on Tuesday, May 11 at 6:35 p.m. CDT. Come on out to MGM Park in Biloxi to enjoy good food, good drinks, and even better baseball.

May 14-15 – Pirate Day in the Bay

The weekend following, on May 14 and 15, Pirate Day in the Bay will invade old town Bay St. Louis. With a pub crawl on Friday that starts at 6 p.m., a scavenger hunt, a costume contest for both kids and adults, this will be a fun-filled weekend. Don’t forget your pirate hat!
