Pascagoula Welcomes Revival On The River to Point Park

Revival On The River is coming to Pascagoula  — Saturday, April 27th at 4:00 pm to the beautiful new Point Park Amphitheater on West Beach Boulevard. Local promoter Robby Myrick Music partners with Ethan Oltremari Music and Revival On The River, a non-profit from Greenwood MS, to bring an afternoon/evening program of praise and worship music, along with prayers of Blessing over our city. Revival On The River began in the heart of young Ethan Oltremari of Greenwood when he was a high school senior who simply desired to see churches unify around a worship event and then become a blessing to their local community through missions projects. Ethan’s first effort in 2016 drew a crowd of about 600 to the riverfront park in Greenwood. Last year, the May 2018 event drew more than 3,000 and has now become one of the largest annual music festivals in Greenwood.

This year on May 11, 2019, the Greenwood festival features headline artists People And Songs, along with dozens of local worship bands, choirs, and solo artists. The Mission of Revival On The River is to unite the body of Christ through worship, outreach, and missions. We exist to expose as many people to the love of Christ as possible. Robby Myrick is a local worship pastor and promoter of Christian music events on the Mississippi Coast He and Ethan struck up a phone conversation in 2016 when Robby took note of Ethan’s ministry and the affirmations he received from the Mississippi United Methodist Conference as a leader in missions and outreach programs. From those conversations, the two began to pray with their respective local pastors and organizers to schedule a Revival On The River event in Pascagoula. Revival On The River Pascagoula will feature local Christian worship bands — COTR Worship, Jameson Cook, Letter To The King — with guest headliner Ethan Oltremari Music rounding out the lineup. Local pastors will offer evangelistic challenges and prayers over the gathering.

Admission is FREE and all are encouraged to bring lawn chairs as the Amphitheater seating areas may become filled.  Bring your own refreshments if you’d like, but NO ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED at the event. Pascagoula Police Department will offer traffic support and security detail.
