Taking place April 1-3, the annual tournament has moved to the Grand Bear Golf Club in Saucier. A limited number of tickets are being sold daily, so get your tickets for an up-close view of the three-day 54 hole event that offers a sweet $1.6 million purse (winner portion is $240,000).

It will be an exceptional weekend of professional golf with 78 of the top players of the Champions Tour slated to participate. Even if you don’t follow professional golf, the seasoned athletes’ level of play and the beautiful golf course will make for a fun day.

A little about the pristine Grand Bear Golf Club: This professional course was designed by World Golf Hall of Fame player Jack Nicklaus. It is ranked the second-best course in the state of Mississippi. The layout stretches over 7,200 yards surrounded by towering pines and majestic cypress wetlands.

Come get your steps in as you watch the pros, Grand Bear layout surrounded by the DeSoto National Forest is considered exceptional, ranked No. 10 in the USA.

The players are gracious and often say hello to fans at this intimate tournament setting. The pros enjoy the low-key tone of the event and take time to thank the fans. I had the pleasure of meeting John Daly and Miguel Angel Jimenez snagging autographs.

A great day of Professional Golf that is sure to be filled with thrills, you might get lucky and see a hole-in-one. Grand Bear Golf Club is off Route 49 in Saucier. The parking lot address is 18301 US-49 in Saucier.
