Sixth Annual College Savings Mississippi Art Contest Open for Submissions

The State Treasury Department is looking for submissions for the their 6th Annual College Savings Mississippi Art Contest.

The contest is open to all Mississippi Pre-K through 12th grade students, including those registered as home school students. A scholarship will be awarded for first through third place winners in each of the four grade range categories; Pre-Kindergarten – 2nd Grades, 3rd – 5th Grades, 6th – 8th Grades, and 9th to 12th Grades. The awards are MAC scholarship in the amounts of $529, $250, and $100 respectively.

In addition to the individual scholarship awards, the teacher or classroom with the most submissions will also receive a MAC scholarship of $100 to be used at their discretion. The contest opened for submissions on January 7th and will remain open until February 28, 2019. The students are encouraged to create artwork that illustrates what they want to be when they grow up.
