This year’s class of 18 seniors, who suffered several heartbreaking moments through back-to-back ugly seasons of 3-8 and 1-10, have righted the ship by finishing in third place in Region 4-5A and for the first time are headed to the postseason Friday night to face Laurel.

So, now we’re off and running with the pigskin season. Pascagoula will have its home opener this Friday night at War Memorial, and all other Jackson County squads will be back in action as well. Get out and support your local team of choice.

Sarah Bailey Thomas, one of Pascagoula’s favorite daughters, was home again the evening of July 16. Before a packed crowd of over 350 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Sarah was the keynote speaker for the 27th Annual Boys and Girls Club of Jackson County Steak and Steak Dinner.

Paul Lacoste Sports is working hard to make Mississippi healthy. With programs springing up around the state, with the support of state government leaders, he is well on his way to impacting the healthcare of all Mississippi residents.

The Gautier High School/Middle School Baseball Dugout Club has organized an event to feature the new 2019 lineup of Players, Coaches, Gator Girls and Team Sponsors.
