Chevron was proud to once again sponsor the Jackson County Industrial Trade Show, where local small businesses showcase their products and services to the manufacturing and large industries in the county. Co-chaired by Chevron Business Development Specialist Trudi Dixon, the event has grown over the past 26 years, and provides an ideal venue to support the Refinery’s local spend goals. Chevron spent $261 million with Jackson County vendors and contractors in 2015.
“Sourcing locally and supporting our Jackson County Chamber of Commerce are two important ways Chevron benefits our local economy,” said Alan Sudduth, PGPA Manager. “Small businesses are an essential part of the community, and we can all do our part to support them.”
Special thanks to the Chevron Procurement employees who volunteered: Melanie Landsiedel (booth coordinator), Chris Skrmetti, Obi Okoye, JT Daughtry, Robin Trochesset, Genna Casey, JP McIlwain, Sean O’Grady, James Eubanks, Josh Cooper, Darrin Ely, Teresa Wright, Brad Talley, Kimetha Blanks, Lucretia Roberts, Chris Stallworth and Cheryl Bragg.
