A Harrison County bus driver saved a girl’s life this past Thursday.

Robert Morgan, a bus driver in the district for 15 years, was on his usual route when fourth-grader Ella Harper began choking on a hamburger. Heroically enough, Morgan pulled the bus over and successfully performed the Heimlich maneuver on Harper.

On Friday, Harper’s family showed up at West Wortham Elementary to surprise Morgan with gifts and to express their gratitude. Absolutely heartwarming.
