Summer Programs available for all ages offered at JGRLS

The Jackson George Regional Library System will host its annual Summer Library Program beginning June 5th through June 30th with a full schedule of events for all ages and adults on and kick-off events scheduled at selected branches.

Parents will have a place to take children and engage in this year’s theme “All Together Now”, centered around

Kindness, Friendship, and Unity. “Every year more and more children are reached by our programs,” said

JGRLS Youth Services Coordinator Bethany Carlisle. “We always have families moving to our area , and we encourage them to get a library card and enjoy the fun and learning activities. We hope children and their parents will enjoy great every week at their library.” Wednesdays at 10 am elementary students can interact with theme activities.

June 7 – Dance, Dance, Dance

June 14 – All Together Music with Gram Rea

June 21 – Storytelling with Mary Ann Louviere

June 28 – Bayou Friends Make A New Friend Puppet Show

All programs are free for adults and children, and many will offer the chance to win door prizes. Local businesses and Friends of the Library groups have donated food and prizes. Visit the library website at for a full schedule or find the library on social [email protected].
